How our horses are cared for
The horses are the ride. This page says how they are looked after — plainly, and without the numbers we would have to invent to sound more impressive.
The horses are regularly monitored and cared for, under veterinary supervision, with care provided according to applicable requirements. Each horse is individually identified and documented, with official identification and health documentation maintained through the relevant Turkish agricultural and veterinary authorities. A horse that is not fit to work does not work, and each rider is matched to a horse that suits them.
Regular care and monitoring
Horses that carry riders every day are watched every day: how they move, how they eat, how they behave in the yard and on the trail. Care is routine rather than occasional. When something is not right, the horse is rested — the ride is not built on a horse that should not be working.
Veterinary supervision
Veterinary care is provided according to the applicable requirements, and the horses' health is monitored as part of the daily operation rather than only when something goes wrong. We do not print a veterinarian's name, a check frequency or inspection dates here, because those are records, not marketing — and a number on a website that does not match the paperwork would be worse than none.

Each horse is individually identified, and has official identification and health documentation maintained through the relevant Turkish agricultural and veterinary authorities. That documentation exists and is kept; it is not reproduced on this page, and no registration or certificate number is published here.
The rider's part in it
Welfare is not only what happens in the yard. Riders are matched to horses that suit their build — which is why there is a recommended maximum rider weight of around 100–110 kg — the ride is at a walk, a faster stretch is only offered where the guide judges it right, and the route changes when the ground or the weather say it should. Treats are welcome, and feeding is controlled by the staff: ask before you feed a horse.
How often are the horses checked?
Regularly, and as part of the daily operation. We do not publish a frequency, because we will not put a number here that we are not in a position to guarantee — and "checked daily" on a website means nothing if the day is not documented. What we can say is that monitoring is routine and veterinary care follows the applicable requirements.
