Terms
A reservation here is a promise on both sides: we collect you and run the ride as described; you turn up ready, follow the guide, and pay on the day.
What you are booking
The 1-hour Side horse safari: round-trip hotel transfer from the pickup zones on the Side strip, a riding helmet available for every rider, a short riding instruction and safety briefing, a horse matched to you, and about one hour of guided riding at a relaxed walk. You are away from your hotel for about 3 hours in total.
Sunset, sunrise and private rides are not booked through this site's online form. They are requested, and confirmed with you separately together with their price.
Price and payment
The fare is €40 per rider, the same for every rider, and includes the round-trip transfer from the zones listed. Nothing is charged online and no card details are taken. You pay on the day. Photos and videos are available to purchase at the riding centre and are paid there; food, drinks and personal expenses are not included.
Pickup and pickup time
Pickup is from your hotel's main entrance gate. Your exact pickup time is assigned from the day's operational schedule and sent to you before the day, on the phone number you gave us. Please be ready shortly before it. A hotel outside the listed zones is not accepted automatically; we confirm with you first whether and how we can collect you.
The ride
The ride is guided and ridden at a walk. A faster stretch may be offered to experienced riders if the guide judges it right, and it is never promised. The exact route may vary depending on weather, ground conditions, horse welfare, safety, the group's ability and operational conditions. Riders must follow the guide's instructions throughout.
Riding involves a live animal and is not risk-free. Riders take part at their own responsibility, wear suitable clothing and closed shoes, and are asked to tell us before the ride about anything that may matter.
Who can ride
Generally from age 6, subject to the guide's assessment on the day. The recommended maximum rider weight is around 100–110 kg. Pregnancy rules the ride out, as do serious back or mobility problems. The guide's decision on the day, taken for the safety of the rider and the welfare of the horse, is final.
Weather
In bad weather the ride may be moved to another time or refunded in full. We decide on the day, for safety and for the horses.
Cancellation
Cancelling is free up to 24 hours ahead of the ride. Tell us as early as you can. See the cancellation page for the details.
