Why no pickup time is printed anywhere
Look for a departure time on this site and you will not find one. That is not an oversight — it is the only honest way to run a hotel collection along a coast this long.
A pickup time is not a property of the ride
The safari begins at the riding centre, but your day begins at your hotel gate, and those are two different clocks. What time a vehicle reaches you depends on where your hotel falls in the day's run and who else is being collected on it. That is decided per day, not per product, and it moves.
A site that printed one time would be printing a time that is right for one hotel on one day of the season. We would rather print nothing than print that, and then have you standing at a gate long before anything is coming for you.
How the run is built
One vehicle sweeps the resort strip in a single direction, from its western end towards its eastern one, rather than criss-crossing it hotel by hotel. Your place in that sweep is most of the answer to what time you are collected — which is why two guests booked on the same safari can be collected at quite different times and both be exactly on schedule.
Wait at the main entrance gate, where the barrier is, rather than anywhere inside the grounds. Reception will point you to it if the hotel is a large one; a driver working a full run cannot come looking for you.
When you learn yours
Your time comes off the day's own schedule, and it reaches you before the day does: by phone or WhatsApp on the number you leave at booking, and by e-mail if you give one. Be at the gate a little ahead of it, because the vehicle still has the rest of the strip to collect.
Bookings close 24 hours ahead, which is the same window as free cancellation. The run has to be built before it can be driven, and that is the reason for both.
What that means for the rest of your day
Treat the safari as the anchor of a half day rather than a slot squeezed between two other things. Door to door it takes about 3 hours: the collection, the drive out, meeting the horses, the briefing, about 1 hour in the saddle, and the drive back to the same hotel.
In high summer the schedule is built around keeping riders and horses out of the worst of the midday heat, which is one more reason a single printed time would be wrong half the year.
Tell us at booking if something on your day is genuinely fixed — a flight, a checkout, a booked dinner. We cannot promise a time, but we can tell you before you pay whether the day looks workable.
