Horse safari from Kumköy
Kumköy is the last area before Side town itself, and Side town aside it hands us the longest hotel list on the strip — a good many of those gates belonging to the same resort complex under slightly different names.
We collect in Kumköy, and the drive there and home is inside the €40 every rider pays — one figure, no area supplement, and the same amount for every person in the saddle whatever their age. Expect about 1 hour on horseback and about 3 hours door to door. Your slot is worked out when the running order for that date is built, and it reaches you ahead of the ride on the number you booked with. No standing hour exists to publish, because the round is assembled fresh around each day's bookings.
One resort, several entrances
Dream World Resort & Spa, Dream World Aqua, Dream World Hill, Dream Family Club and Dream Fun World are five separate names on our Kumköy list. Miramare comes in two. Villa Side arrives as a hotel and as a residence. Trendy has a Palm Beach and a Verbena Beach.
None of that causes trouble as long as the booking form carries the full name. Where a complex has more than one entrance, tell us which building you are actually sleeping in and the vehicle comes to that barrier.
The last area before Side
Working from the west, the vehicle takes Gündoğdu, Çolaklı, Evrenseki and then Kumköy before it reaches Side town. You sit at the point where the resort strip runs into the old town.
For the ride, that position means nothing whatsoever. It is no basis for guessing when we will arrive, either. That is settled by the running order for your date and by nothing else, and you hear it ahead of the ride.
What you are paying for

Food, drinks and the centre's professional photographs and video sit outside the fare. The photographs are bought at the riding centre and paid there, and we quote no figure for them here.
About the hour, and who it suits
Pine shade first, then open ground inland of Side, then the shoreline with sand under the hooves. The walk is steady and the guide stays with the group the entire way, so a first-timer and a confident rider can go out together without either of them having a poor morning.
Children ride from about 6 as a rule, and the guide makes the final call once they have met them. The centre works to a recommended rider weight of around 100–110 kg. Riding is not suitable for pregnant guests or for anyone with a serious back or mobility problem — please tell us when you book rather than at the gate.
Weather, ground conditions, horse welfare and the group's ability can all move the line the ride takes. None of that changes the hour you get or the money you pay.
